Sue Pike
Sue brings a wealth of experience to Footsteps, having worked in the NHS for over 26 years and been part of the clinic team since 2006. Her clinical expertise includes managing complex neurological conditions such as stroke, MS, and Parkinson’s disease, as well as nail surgery, wound care, diabetic foot health, and routine podiatry. She is particularly passionate about foot health education and empowering patients with knowledge and practical support.
Throughout her NHS career, Sue has held advanced specialist roles and is currently a Speak Up Guardian, supporting staff to raise concerns around patient safety. She also serves as a Council Member with the Royal College of Podiatry, contributing to national policy and clinical guidance. With additional postgraduate qualifications in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, and Employment Law, Sue frequently teaches and facilitates workshops across the UK, engaging with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
Outside of her professional life, Sue enjoys hill walking in the countryside, especially in Scotland, Wales and the Peak District. She’s also a big fan of live music, travelling with friends and family, and has a long history of volunteering — including many years as a Chairperson of a local Scout group.
